Stephen J. Cabot, a leading labor relations attorney, has joined the firm of Saul Ewing LLP as co-chair of the firm's Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits Practice Group. He comes to Saul Ewing with more than 30 years of labor law experience, helping clients, including many Fortune 500 companies, some union and some non-union.

"Bringing Steve Cabot and his team on board is part of a natural evolution of our firm's strategic plan," said Steven S. Aichele, managing partner of Saul Ewing. "The fit is right. Steve has a national client base and a significant regional presence. We have been actively engaged in growing our labor practice by adding a strong labor relations component to meet the increased demands for labor-related services in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania."

In addition to his legal accomplishments on behalf of corporate America, Mr. Cabot is the author of several best-selling books, including Everybody Wins!, Up From Confrontation and Stephen Cabot's Complete Guide to Labor Relations in the 21st Century.

Prior to joining Saul Ewing, Mr. Cabot was chairman of the Labor Relations and Employment Law Department of Harvey Pennington, Cabot, Griffith & Renneisen, Ltd. Accompanying Mr. Cabot from Harvey Pennington are Christopher J. Murphy, Maria L. Petrillo, Michael E. Ligonowski and Wayne E. Pinkstone.

Kenneth A. Murphy, a commercial litigator, has joined Saul Ewing as a partner.

Mr. Murphy is a well-regarded trial lawyer who concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation, product liability issues, and insurance insolvency and reinsurance litigation.
