The National Arbitration Forum and e-Law, LLC provided a free demonstration of New Jersey No Fault Electronic Arbitrationlast month at the New Jersey State Bar Annual Convention in Atlantic City, NJ.
"On January 26, the State of New Jersey awarded the National Arbitration Forum a three-year contract to administer arbitrations for No-Fault Insurance Personal Injury Protection (PIP)," said Jerry Krivitsky, chairman and CEO of e-Law, LLC. "By melding our product eServe with systems at NAF, we have developed an entirely electronic experience for filing demands, responses, exhibits - indeed all correspondence and forms associated with the arbitration process."
"Electronic filing of No-Fault claims and other documents is new to the New Jersey No-Fault litigants and is projected to save litigants hundreds of thousands of dollars over the contract," said Ed Anderson, managing director of NAF. "Law offices estimate the cost of paper handling at almost one dollar per page and mailing costs at tens-to-hundreds of dollars per case. These costs can be reduced or avoided altogether by utilizing NAF and e-Law online filing options."
