Gleiss Lutz, a firm that practices in association with Herbert Smith and Stibbe, was named Chamber Global's German Law Firm of the Year 2004 at an awards ceremony last month in London. The Chambers Global awards are presented each year to leading law firms in different jurisdictions.
Published annually, the Chambers Global compendium is an international guide to leading commercial law firms.
Following presentation of the awards by Cherie Booth Q.C. (wife of British Prime Minister Tony Blair), Dr. Martin Diller, Gleiss Lutz managing partner, said, "This award not only testifies to our performance over recent months, but is also an incentive for us to continue improving."
