Practising Law Institute (PLI) is offering QuickCredits for a trouble-free way to earn CLE credits. QuickCredits are online versions of PLI's programs conveniently broken down into one- to three-hour segments
"For busy attorneys, this provides a huge convenience," said PLI's Executive Director Victor J. Rubino. "Lawyers can search for exactly the content they need, when they need it, allowing them to maintain a leading edge in their practice."
Users receive the audio and video presentations streamed over the web and can register for CLE credit online from their computer. Links to related PLI materials, an online discussion forum and web-based resources also are included. Users have access to the purchased material for one year.
Some of the topics available include The Sarbanes-Oxley Act: Ethical Considerations, Auditing and Accounting Changes from the web program Living With the New Corporate Governance Disclosure Regime 2003, and Market Regulation from the web program The SEC Speaks in 2004.
With 2,000 CLE credits available, users can search for topics by interest area, a key word search, or by scanning through PLI's featured QuickCredits. Subject areas include antitrust, bankruptcy, corporate compliance, litigation, securities, intellectual property, insurance, entertainment law, taxation and others. A one-hour free sample is available at www.quickcreditcle.com.
