Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. has announced that the firm has formally approved the opening of a Miami, FL office, which will be managed by nationally-known employment attorney Michael W. Casey III, who joined Epstein Becker in October as a member.

"We are thrilled to have an attorney of Mike Casey's caliber to lead our new Miami office," said George P. Sape, Epstein Becker's managing partner. "Mike has a stellar reputation and a proven track record as one of the pre-eminent employment lawyers in the Southeast. With Mike's reputation, legal expertise and experience, we are confident he will be of great value to EBG clients - both in Florida and around the globe."

A veteran attorney with more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Casey is former chair of the Labor and Employment Section of the Florida Bar. He also is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and a member of both the American Employment Law Council and the Federalist Society.

Epstein Becker's new Miami office builds on the success of the firm's Atlanta office, which was established in 2000, and has grown from 22 to more than 30 attorneys in the past year. In addition to labor and employment, Epstein Becker's Atlanta office has established practices in real estate, corporate transactions, commercial litigation and health law.
