Winston Names 35 New Partners

Winston & Strawn has announced the election of its largest partner class in the firm's 150-year history. Thirty-five attorneys across five offices were promoted to partner.

"We're very pleased that there were so many deserving partner candidates, and that the firm was in a position to give these attorneys the recognition they earned and deserved," said Winston & Strawn Managing Partner James M. Neis.

In Chicago there are 21 new partners: Norman K. Beck, J. Michael Brown Jr., John A. Cashman, Taras A. Gracey, Diana J. Hsu, Brian J. Kozlowski, Michael J. Lotus, Joseph P. Lukas, Timothy J. McCaffrey, Daniel J. McGuire, Raymond W. Mitchell, John E. Mooney, John W. Moss, John D. Nicolay, Adrienne B. Pitts, Peter W. Poulos, Christine J. Siwik, Timothy W. Smith, Erik W. Snapp, Eryk J. Spytek and Victoria F. Stach.

In Washington, DC, the eight newly elected partners are: John R. Ates, H. Allen Black III, M. Carter DeLorme, Michael T. Dyson, Marion K. Goldberg, Charles B. Klein, Gregory K. Smith and Jeffrey A. Wolfson. Four new partners in New York City are:Catherine A. DiFiglia, Daniel E. McManus Jr., James S. Richter and Stacy A. Yakaboski. In Los Angeles, a partner is Jessie A. Kohler, and in Paris, Thierry Meillat has been elected partner.

Winston & Strawn celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2003.It has more than 850 attorneys and eight offices including Chicago, New York City, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Paris, London and Geneva.
