Jones Day Earns Top M&A Ranking for 58th Straight Quarter

Jones Day ranked #1 globally in the Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg M&A league tables for the first quarter of 2015, maintaining a position it has held for 58 consecutive calendar quarters.

Jones Day’s M&A team continues to advise on complex transactions from all over the world. Among the transactions on which the firm advised so far this year are Exelis's $4.8 billion acquisition by Harris Corporation; Polypore International's $3.2 billion acquisition by Asahi Kasei Corporation; Cardinal Health's $1.9 billion acquisition of Johnson & Johnson's Cordis business; RTI International Metals' $1.5 billion stock-for-stock acquisition by Alcoa; NII Holdings' $1.9 billion sale of its Mexican operations to AT&T; and NRG Energy's $1.2 billion sale of five power plants to NRG Yield.
