Weil, Gotshal Announces New Hires For 2015 and High-Profile Lateral Hires

On November 25, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced that it has elected 12 new partners and 15 new counsel, effective January 1, 2015.  More than half of these individuals are based outside of the United States, reflecting the strength of the firm’s global operations.  They have significant and wide-ranging experience across the Corporate, Litigation, Business Finance & Restructuring and Tax departments. The new partners and counsel are based in Hong Kong, London, New York, Paris, Warsaw and Washington, D.C.  Fabienne Beuzit, Patrick Bright, Andrew Chizzik, Edouard de Lamy, Anish Desai, Stephen Fox, Lyuba Goltser, Ariel Kronman, Brian Maher, Tom Richards, Gavin Westerman and Caroline Zalka have been elected partner, and Ewa Bober, Barbra Broudy, Charles Cardon, Kelly DiBlasi, Gautier Elies, Jared Friedmann, James Gee, Thomas Goslin, Adé Heyliger, David Irvine, Monika Kierepa, Naomi Munz, Stefania Di Trolio Venezia, William Welty and Daniel Yeh have been elected counsel.

In addition, the firm continues to expand its partnership with the addition of high-profile lateral partners.  Weil recently announced that Frank Adams joined the New York office as a partner. He is part of Weil’s U.S. Capital Markets practice and has wide-ranging experience in acquisition and leveraged finance transactions and high-yield debt and other complex securities offerings. Weil also recently announced that Yannick Piette will join Weil as a partner in the Paris office. For more than a decade, he advised listed corporations and other large industrial groups in M&A transactions, both public and private, as well as in capital markets transactions.
