Dykema has announced that Peter Kellett has been re-elected chairman and chief executive officer of the Firm for a second three-year term commencing on January 1, 2015. Mr. Kellett has served as chairman and chief executive officer since January 1, 2012.
Mr. Kellett previously served the Firm as Litigation Practice Group leader (2003-2007) and as its Litigation Department director (2008-2011). Prior to becoming chair of the Firm, he also served for many years as trial counsel for some of the nation’s largest corporations, enjoying successes in courtrooms across the country and close relationships with many of the Firm’s major clients.

Dykema announces 93 of the firm’s lawyers, in multiple practice areas and markets, have been recognized in the 2015 Best Lawyers in America guide. This number of Dykema attorneys on the Best Lawyers list represents nearly 25 percent of all lawyers in the firm. Dykema recently added three experienced attorneys. Matthew D. Rinaldi was added to Dykema’s Business and Commercial Litigation practice as senior counsel in the firm’s Dallas office. Mr. Rinaldi is an experienced litigator in complex commercial litigation and appellate matters. He focuses his practice on representing businesses in a broad range of areas, including contractual disputes, securities class action lawsuits, director and officer liability, construction, election law, antitrust, insurance coverage and intellectual property litigation.
He has tried cases in federal, state and appellate courts, and has represented and counseled a broad spectrum of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, Big Four accounting firms, and insurance companies as well as small businesses and individuals.
Eric L. White joined Dykema’s Corporate Finance practice as senior counsel in the firm’s Dallas office. He focuses his practice on business transactions in the areas of domestic and international finance, including asset based lending, cash flow lending, equipment finance and leasing, bridge financings, Islamic finance (Shariah compliant finance), derivatives and other financial service areas, as well as the formation of private debt and equity investment funds. He has represented numerous financial institutions in connection with Leveraged Finance and Structured Finance deals.
Richard J. Aaron was added to Dykema’s Government Policy practice group as member in the firm’s Lansing office. Mr. Aaron focuses his practice on energy, renewable energy, cogeneration, natural gas transportation and storage, negotiation of energy contracts and general business matters. He has advised and represented public utilities and other energy providers before regulatory agencies and state and federal courts on complex litigation matters, including taxes and accounting, rate increase requests, power supply and gas cost recovery, purchase agreements, optimization plans, the defense and prosecution of complaints, and spent nuclear fuel. He also advises clients on easements and rights of way, landfill gas, waste to energy and wind energy generation, power purchase agreements, hydroelectric generation and dam operations, counter party performance and related bankruptcy issues, and renewable energy credits.
