David E. Bronston, special counsel with Phillips Lytle LLP, will serve as a panelist on the topic, “Small Cells, Big Deal,” at NATE’S Tower Business Symposium, part of the Above Ground Level (AGL) media group’s conference series, on June 19, 2014. The event will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland.
Mr. Bronston’s panel will cover the full-scale deployment of small cells on the networks of AT&T and Verizon Wireless that began in the second half of 2013. Attendees will learn about real world implementations of this widely discussed technology, the challenges and lessons learned and how success being measured.

Mr. Bronston, a member of the New York State Wireless Association board of directors, focuses his practice on telecommunications infrastructure and has extensive experience with network licensing and the intersection of telecommunications infrastructure with real estate. He has represented public and private property owners nationwide in license agreements, right of way agreements and other access agreements with telecommunications service providers. He has also represented all types of telecommunications service providers and carriers (with a particular expertise in Distributed Antenna System networks) in negotiating franchise agreements with local governments and obtaining all necessary legislative authorizations and administrative licenses, permits and approvals.
Mr. Bronston has over two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry and is a former general counsel for the NYC Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications. He frequently speaks on the topic of telecommunications, and has written extensively on telecommunications matters.
