EisnerAmper LLP, a leading accounting and advisory firm, has announced that Mendy Kwestel has joined the firm’s Corporate Finance practice as a director.
Mr. Kwestel will help lead the growth and expansion of the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services line of business, within the Corporate Finance group. In making the announcement, EisnerAmper’s Corporate Finance partner-in-charge, Joel Barth, said, “Mendy’s 38 years of professional experience assisting clients with their transaction and accounting needs enhances our talent base, portfolio of services and relationships. His ability to deliver insightful and independent due diligence services to private equity firms, investment banks, and corporate buyers and sellers has materially reduced the risk and improved the timeliness of many M&A transactions.”
Mr. Kwestel’s expertise is in initiating, planning, and managing due diligence and quality of earnings engagements for buy and sell-side transactions. He specializes in private equity investments and related services to portfolio companies, and assisting companies in preparing for merger, acquisition or financing transactions. His primary industry expertise is in the manufacturing, distribution, pharmaceutical, healthcare, professional and business services industries.
Prior to joining EisnerAmper, Mr. Kwestel was a partner in a global accounting firm where he was a founding partner of that firm’s transaction advisory services practice.
He has an undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, in accounting from Brooklyn College and an MBA in finance from the Baruch College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He is co-author of The Road to Success – How to Manage Growth published by John Wiley & Sons.
