EisnerAmper LLP has announced that Richard J. Gering, PhD, CLP, a nationally recognized economic expert in intellectual property and commercial litigation damages, has been appointed as the national leader of the firm’s Litigation Services Practice.
EisnerAmper’s Litigation Services Practice provides economic damages, forensic accounting, and valuation services in complex commercial litigation and arbitrations, forensic investigations, matrimonial disputes, valuations, and other dispute-related services to the legal community and is well-known for the quality of professionals in the practice.
Mr. Gering has over 25 years of experience providing economic, statistical, and financial consulting services to attorneys and corporate clients. He has served as an economic damages expert witness in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitrations. Gering specializes in providing consulting and expert witness assistance including economic and statistical analysis related to all types of intellectual property disputes as well as other complex commercial disputes. He assists law firms and corporate clients with the calculation of economic damages, econometric model building, forecasting, market studies, profitability analyses, valuations and product pricing studies.
Mr. Gering is also an adjunct lecturer in law at Villanova University School of Law where he teaches Economic Damages.
