Marcum Announces Promotion And New Hire

Bradford Taylor has been named National Valuation Practice Leader by Marcum LLP. He is based in Marcum’s Boston office, where he is a director in the firm’s Advisory Services Division.

Mr. Taylor is a business valuation and litigation support expert with extensive experience in valuating business enterprises, intangible assets, and common and preferred equity. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (“CVA”). He joined Marcum in August 2013.

Megan M. Budd has joined the New England Healthcare Services Group at Marcum LLP, a top national accounting and advisory firm.  Based in the firm’s Hartford, Connecticut, office, Ms. Budd is a senior manager in the Assurance Services Division.

Previously, Ms. Budd was a healthcare specialist with a New England accounting firm. She has a decade of experience managing, reviewing and analyzing financial information for healthcare and not-for-profit companies, as well as employee benefit plans. She specializes in working with healthcare providers including hospitals, nursing homes, home health and hospice agencies, and community-based health centers.

Ms. Budd is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
