Stradley Ronon was approved for membership by the Executive Committee of the Federal City Council on September 10. The FCC is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization comprised of the area’s top business, professional, education and civic leaders, and dedicated to the improvement of the District of Columbia. By serving as a trusted partner for civic improvement, and by bringing to bear the knowledge, experience, access and resources of its members, the Council plays a critical role in the advancement of the District of Columbia. Partner Theodore D. Segal will serve as the firm’s representative to the FCC.

Stradley Ronon Insurance Practice chair Steven B. Davis chaired the inaugural Saint Joseph’s University Academy of Risk Management & Insurance Executive of the Year Award Dinner honoring Pennsylvania Deputy Insurance Commissioner Stephen J. Johnson on September 26 at the Union League in Philadelphia. Evan Greenberg, chairman and CEO of ACE Limited, served as the keynote speaker of the sold-out event, which attracted more than 500 insurance executives, regulators and their counsel.
Mr. Davis chairs Stradley Ronon’s insurance practice group and represents property & casualty, liability and health insurers and intermediaries in regulatory, litigation and government affairs matters. He also provides counsel to insurance regulators in enforcement, policy and transactional matters. Mr. Davis previously served as chief counsel for the Pennsylvania Insurance Department, where he was responsible for advising the insurance commissioner, the governor’s office and all department program areas on regulatory and litigation matters.

Stradley Ronon Partner Christopher W. Rosenbleeth has been appointed to the board of directors of the Risk Management Association, a not-for-profit professional association whose purpose is to advance the use of sound risk principles in the financial services industry.
Headquartered in Philadelphia, RMA has approximately 2,500 institutional members that include banks of all sizes as well as nonbank financial institutions. They are represented in the association by 16,000 risk management professionals who are chapter members in financial centers throughout North America, Europe and Asia/Pacific.
Mr. Rosenbleeth regularly represents financial institutions, corporate clients and strategic investors in their finance and investment activities. His clients include privately owned and publicly held companies, senior secured lenders and investors.
