Sills Cummis & Gross has announced that its Health Care Practice Group ranked 53rd in the nation in Modern Healthcare’s 2013 Largest Healthcare Law Firms Survey, up four spots from last year. Sills Cummis & Gross is the only New Jersey headquartered law firm on the list.
The Sills Cummis & Gross Health Care Practice Group is a multidisciplinary team of attorneys that provides the full range of legal services for its health care clients. The group’s attorneys focus on many aspects of health care law, including mergers, acquisitions and affiliations, health care transactions and corporate law, health care regulatory and compliance, health care government and internal investigations, health care finance, health care employment and labor law, health care litigation, health care real estate and health care antitrust. Gary W. Herschman serves as chair of the firm’s Health Care Practice Group. Anjana D. Patel is the group’s vice chair.

On June 25, the Harvard Law School Association of New Jersey sponsored a lunch at Sills Cummis & Gross for the Association’s Board of Trustees to meet the summer public interest interns to whom the Association granted scholarships for this summer. The summer public interest interns are working in a ten-week program in the U.S. Attorney’s office in Newark.
