Anthony Argiropoulos, a member of Sills Cummis & Gross, was elected as a trustee of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey.

Anthony Argiropoulos is a member of the Litigation Practice Group. He serves as lead counsel in complex commercial litigations and arbitrations throughout the United States.  He has represented a wide array of healthcare clients, publicly held companies and international clients in high-stakes litigations involving contract disputes and commercial torts. He also represents individual clients and entrepreneurs in substantial shareholder disputes, estate, probate and guardianship matters, as well as contract and commercial tort litigation.

Jeffrey J. Greenbaum, a member of the firm, has been appointed by New Jersey Supreme Court Chief Justice Stuart Rabner to the Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Expedited Civil Actions, a 34-member committee.  The committee is composed of judges and attorneys from some of the state’s most prominent firms. The committee will advise the state Supreme Court on the types of cases that may be appropriate for an expedited civil process, pretrial procedures and trial practices to speed up civil actions, and incentives for plaintiff and defense attorneys to actually use the program.

Mr. Greenbaum, chair of the firm’s Class Action Practice Group, is an active litigator and trial attorney in the federal and state courts with a specialty in complex business litigation and in defending class action litigation. He has handled cases of national prominence, chaired the ABA Section of Litigation Class Actions and Derivative Suits Committee and is a frequent lecturer in the class action field. He has handled numerous matters involving securities, RICO and consumer fraud, class actions and derivative suits, professional liability, antitrust, banking, chancery practice, contracts, real estate, trade secrets and unfair competition.
