Robin M. Feiner, a former equity capital markets banker at UBS Investment Bank and Citigroup Global Markets Inc., has joined Proskauer’s Capital Markets Group in New York. She brings more than 17 years of experience to her new role, having planned and executed hundreds of IPOs, follow-ons, block trades and other equity financings across a broad range of industries, including industrials, healthcare, technology, consumer, financial institutions, real estate, energy and power.
“Robin’s combination of insight into the equity capital markets and strong legal background make her an exceptional addition to our team as we continue to expand our rapidly growing global capital markets platform,” said Frank Lopez, co-head of the global Capital Markets Group. “Her stellar reputation with top-tier investment banks and ability to deliver best-in-class execution with leading knowledge of legal practices and industry trends will serve our clients well in meeting their IPO and other complex equity transaction needs.”
Most recently, Ms. Feiner was executive director of Equity Capital Markets/Equity Corporate Finance at UBS. In that role, she helped book-run hundreds of transactions for global companies listing in the United States, in addition to creating the UBS Annual IPO Conference.
Prior to UBS, Ms. Feiner spent seven years as a director in the Equity Capital Markets/Transaction Advisory Group at Citigroup Global Markets Inc., where she executed more than 50 IPOs, including many billion-dollar offerings.
Joining the firm as senior counsel, Ms. Feiner’s addition continues the significant growth of Proskauer’s global capital markets capabilities over the past few years. In September 2012, the firm added three partners and a senior counsel in its London office with deep experience in debt and equity capital markets.
Proskauer’s Capital Markets Group represents a cross-section of bulge bracket, middle-market and boutique investment banks, as well as sponsors and public and private companies of all sizes and industries around the world, in a wide variety of public, Rule 144A and Regulation S and private debt and equity transactions. The group consistently earns top rankings in Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters’ league tables and is recognized as a leader in the U.S. and globally by Chambers and Legal 500.
