Gibbons P.C. has announced that William J. Palatucci, one of the state's most prominent and widely respected attorneys, with a reputation for strategic planning and complex public policy and communications initiatives, has joined the firm as special counsel.

Mr. Palatucci's past experience has included representation of some of New Jersey's largest companies in the areas of health care, gaming, public utilities, and education law. Immediately prior to joining Gibbons, he spent the last seven years as senior vice president and general counsel for Community Education Centers, Inc. (CEC) of West Caldwell, NJ. Before joining CEC, he was a partner in the law firm of Dughi, Hewit & Palatucci, P.C., where he provided legislative and regulatory affairs counsel.

Mr. Palatucci served as co-chair of the Inaugural Committee for Governor Chris Christie and Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno. In addition, he was elected in 2010 as the Republican National Committeeman for New Jersey.

Currently a member of the board of visitors at the Seton Hall University School of Law, Mr. Palatucci is also chair of the University of Phoenix Board of Trustees for its Jersey City, New Jersey campus. He serves on the National Advisory Board for the Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University.

Mr. Palatucci's esteemed background and national reputation further distinguish an already exceptional Gibbons team of senior attorneys who have served high-level positions under both Democratic and Republican administrations.
