Stradley Ronon Chairman William R. Sasso was honored at the 2012 Father of the Year Awards on June 7 in Philadelphia. Stradley Ronon Business Department Chair Kevin Boyle co-chaired this year’s annual dinner along with Daniel J. Hilferty, President and Chief Executive Officer, Independence Blue Cross. The awards, presented by the American Diabetes Association and the Greater Philadelphia Father’s Day Council, recognized exceptional fathers who have demonstrated success in business and in the community while also being exemplary role models for their children.

“Bill Sasso’s leadership in the community has been both consistent and impactful,” said Rena Cozart, Executive Director of the ADA Philadelphia Chapter. “We are so pleased to be able to honor him and the other fathers for their work in building their businesses, supporting their communities, and raising their families. The involvement of business leaders like Bill will be critical to increasing awareness of and response to the pandemic of diabetes that our country currently faces.”
