Gibbons P.C. continues its strategic expansion in key markets, industries, and service areas with the addition of three experienced, highly regarded attorneys. William M. Moran, Suzanne L'Hernault, and Peter Flägel have recently joined the firm as directors, Mr. Moran in the Business & Commercial Litigation Department, resident in the New York and Newark offices, and Mr. Flägel and Ms. L'Hernault, both in the Corporate Department, resident in the Newark office and the New York office, respectively.
"We identified the key market segments we could be servicing more comprehensively and the cutting-edge legal services most important to our client base, and we found the very best attorneys to help us meet these needs," says Patrick C. Dunican Jr., chairman and managing director of Gibbons. "Moreover, Bill, Suzanne, and Peter possess all the qualities that support the longstanding Gibbons tradition of excellence."
William M. Moran, named one of the National Law Journal's "Winning Litigators" in 2011, represents banks, corporations, investment companies, shareholders, and individuals, most often in the financial services industry. He has extensive trial and appellate experience in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings and regulatory and compliance settings, usually in cases arising from the securities and banking laws.
Suzanne L'Hernault focuses her practice on representing lenders in all aspects of secured and unsecured financing transactions, including drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security documents, letters of credit, subordination and inter-creditor agreements, and negotiating and documenting debt restructuring agreements. She has also been involved in work-outs, as well as leveraged buyouts and other acquisition financings.
Peter Flägel bolsters the firm's general corporate and cross-border transactions practice through his representation of companies with interests in Germany. His practice focuses on corporate mergers and acquisitions for private and public companies, including negotiating and drafting asset purchase, share purchase, merger, shareholder, and joint venture agreements.
