Lowenstein Sandler welcomes the return of insurance litigator Lynda A. Bennett as a member of the firm. Ms. Bennett, who will serve as chair of the Insurance Coverage group, rejoins Lowenstein from Herold Law, P.A., where she was a partner.
Ms. Bennett has more than 17 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, primarily fighting for corporate policyholder rights in insurance coverage disputes. She has recovered hundreds of millions for clients in environmental, asbestos, construction defect, mass tort, product liability, and D&O and professional liability cases. She also counsels clients with respect to contractual insurance requirements, new insurance products, innovative risk management tools, and assessment of their insurance programs. She is a recognized leader in her field, regularly included in national publications, including The Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and The Legal 500.
Ms. Bennett originally joined Lowenstein as an associate in 1997. As the group's new chair, she succeeds Robert Chesler, who served in that position for 22 years, and will continue to work closely with the group’s vice chair, Michael David Lichtenstein. The firm recently welcomed New York-based Joseph Jean, member of the firm, and Rachel Wrightson, counsel, augmenting its capabilities in the New York market and in the areas of property insurance and regulatory advice.
