Stradley Ronon has added former DLA Piper attorney Alycia M. Vivona to its mergers & acquisitions practice group. Joining Ted Segal, who came from DLA Piper to Stradley Ronon in January as chair of its M&A practice group, Vivona is the second significant addition to the group this year. With more than 17 years of experience practicing transactional law, Vivona's deep experience in domestic and cross-border transactions will enhance Stradley's ability to help its clients obtain the greatest value in their most critical business representations.
Ms. Vivona has broad experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, secured lending and intellectual property licensing. She has represented foreign and domestic clients in transactions involving numerous countries, including China, Egypt, France, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Spain, Sweden and Thailand. Having lived and worked in Japan, Ms. Vivona brings a value-added dimension on pan-Asian transactional matters, one of the core areas of focus for Stradley Ronon's M&A practice group.
Stradley Ronon hosted the 2011 "Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes" CEO Corporate Recruitment Breakfast on April 13 in the firm's Philadelphia office. Guests to the invitation-only breakfast included Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, Step Out Walk Co-Chair Billie Jean King and NBC 10's Lori Wilson. Attendees had the opportunity to learn what steps they can take to help raise money for diabetes research and education. The Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes will take place October 1, 2011 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
