As senior counsel at Stradley Ronon's Philadelphia office, Mr. Picker is a full-time mediator and arbitrator. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators and a Fellow of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators. Picker serves on the panels of the American Arbitration Association and the CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution. He is also the author of Mediation Practice Guide: A Handbook For Resolving Business Disputes (Second Edition), published in 2003 by the ABA Section on Dispute Resolution.
Former Stradley Ronon associate Julie G. DiSalvio has returned to the firm as director of human resources, where she will oversee the hiring, training and professional development of non-lawyer staff in all offices, as well as employee relations, branch office management, benefits, payroll, policy development and implementation, employee orientations and workloads.
Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, Ms. DiSalvio served as the general manager of labor and employee relations for the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority. Ms. DiSalvio is a former associate of Stradley Ronon's Labor & Employment Law practice group.
Stradley Ronon partner Deborah Hong spoke at the panel discussion, "Entering the World's Hottest Market: Keys to Establishing Enterprise in China," hosted by Citibank in Philadelphia. Other speakers included His Excellency the Ambassador Consul General Peng Keyu, consulate-general of the People's Republic of China in New York; and Rhonda Lee, relationship manager for Citibank, N.A's Asian-Pacific sector.
As a partner in Stradley Ronon's business practice group, Ms. Hong concentrates her practice in the areas of structured finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate counseling. Additionally, she currently serves as the president of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania and a trustee for the Center for Literacy. Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, Ms. Hong was an analyst for a financial consulting group.
