Haynes and Boone Earns Top Honors In Human Rights Campaign's 2011 Corporate Equality Index

The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation has awarded Haynes and Boone, LLP a 100 percent rating in its 2011 Corporate Equality Index measuring private companies' policies and treatment of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees.

Haynes and Boone has received a 100 percent rating for three consecutive years.

"We are honored to be consistently ranked among the best places to work by the HRC," said Nick Even, Haynes and Boone partner and chair of the LGBT sub-committee of the firm's Attorney Diversity Committee. "This prestigious recognition reaffirms our efforts to promote diversity of all kinds, and in particular to provide a cohesive work environment and competitive policies and benefits for our LGBT employees."

Felicity Fowler, partner and chair of Haynes and Boone's Attorney Diversity Committee, reflected on the firm's long history in all areas of diversity. "This isn't a topic we just embraced in the last few years because it was a fad. It is the right thing to do, and it has been a part of who we are since the firm's beginning."

Seven Haynes and Boone, LLP attorneys in New York and Washington, D.C. have been named outstanding attorneys by Super Lawyers. With the recent expansion of its East Coast offices, Haynes and Boone has increased its presence in the Super Lawyers rankings.
