King & Spalding ranks among the nation's top mergers and acquisitions legal advisors, according to league-table reports for the first nine months of 2010 issued this month by Thomson Reuters.
For U.S. small-cap rankings from January 1 through September 30, 2010, the firm was 26th out of 49 firms, based on the value of deals, in the category of undisclosed values and values up to $50 million, with 10 deals totaling $83 million.
King & Spalding also ranked 27th for U.S. target mid-market companies for the same time period, based on the value of deals, in the category of undisclosed values and values up to $500 million. The firm was credited with 17 deals worth $2.024 billion.
In the inaugural edition of Best Lawyers' "Lawyer of the Year" survey, seven King & Spalding lawyers have been identified as the leading practitioner in their practice area.
