Mr. Sierra also spent 12 years as an assistant U.S. attorney in the U.S. Attorney's Office in Newark, New Jersey, where he managed long-term criminal investigations and prosecutions of individuals and corporations for the U.S. Department of Justice.

"As a former federal prosecutor and chief compliance officer in the pharmaceutical industry, José brings a wealth of experience that will be extremely valuable to our many pharmaceutical, medical device, and life science clients. We are very excited to have him join our growing life sciences and pharmaceutical litigation team," said Timothy French, managing principal of Fish & Richardson's Boston office.
