Phillips Lytle LLP Boosts Buffalo Office IP

Phillips Lytle LLP has announced that Thomas E. Popek has joined the firm as an associate attorney with expertise in Intellectual Property, Corporate and International practices.

At Phillips Lytle, Mr. Popek's practice is focused on the domestic and international development, acquisition, protection, and commercialization of technology. Mr. Popek is also a registered patent attorney and regularly advises clients on patents, copyrights, trademarks, and the creation and management of intellectual property portfolios.

He provides practical legal counsel in all forms of technology transactions, including licenses, commercial agreements, and complex domestic and global sourcing for technology, operations, and core business services.

Mr. Popek was previously a senior associate with Hodgson Russ LLP in that firm's Corporate & Securities Practice Group. His prior experience includes work as a consulting engineer in the imaging, communications, semiconductor, medical and software industries.

Phillips Lytle LLP continues to grow its Rochester office with the hire of Gavin Reynolds as an associate attorney.

Mr. Reynolds concentrates his practice on litigation matters including business disputes, commercial litigation and commercial collections.

Mr. Reynolds, who previously was an associate at Russo, Keane & Toner LLP, is a former news reporter with WOKR-TV/WHAM-TV in Rochester and WTVH-TV in Syracuse.
