Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. Welcomes New Associates To Litigation Practice

Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. is pleased to announce that Laura A. Laughlin, Daniel A. Lebersfeld and Thomas Kane have joined the Firm as Associates in the Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Laughlin and Mr. Lebersfeld are resident in the Firm's Newark office and Mr. Kane is resident in the Firm's Princeton office.

Prior to joining Sills Cummis & Gross, Ms. Laughlin practiced at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP in New York. In 2008, she received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she was on the Dean's List and was awarded the Archibald R. Murray Award at graduation. During law school, Ms. Laughlin served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Kevin Thomas Duffy, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York and was a staff member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal. She received her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and California.

Prior to joining Sills Cummis & Gross, Mr. Lebersfeld practiced at Dechert LLP in New York. He received his J.D., cum laude, from The George Washington University Law School in 2004 and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.

Prior to joining Sills Cummis & Gross, Mr. Kane practiced at Dechert LLP in both Philadelphia and Princeton and was a Law Clerk to U.S. District Court Judge Thomas N. O'Neill, Jr. in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Kane earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law, with high honors, in 1999, where he was an articles editor for the Rutgers Law Journa l. He earned his B.A. from Georgetown University in 1992. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
