Martin V. Schwartz Joins Phillips Lytle

Phillips Lytle LLP has announced Martin V. Schwartz has joined the firm's commercial practice group as special counsel in its New York City office. He joins Phillips Lytle from the Siemens Corporation, where he had previously worked for the past 23 years, most recently serving as general counsel of Siemens Financial Services, Inc.

At Phillips Lytle, Mr. Schwartz concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, equipment finance litigation, general commercial litigation, equipment leasing and secured lending transactions, including syndications, tax exempt financing and vendor equipment/software financing.He earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law graduating "with Distinction" and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Queens College.

Mr Schwartz is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys. In addition, he is also a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
