Williams Kastner Wins Diversity Award

The law firm of Williams Kastner has been recognized with the Puget Sound Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (PSALA)'s Achievements in Diversity Award for 2009. The award, designated for law firms with 50 or more attorneys, was accepted by Managing Director Sheryl Willert at the PSALA Managing Partner's Dinner in downtown Seattle on October 21. The annual award recognizes Williams Kastner for its commitment to building and sustaining diversity in the workplace.

Seattle attorney Jessie Harris has been appointed Chair of the American Bar Association Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section's Self-Insurers and Risk Managers Committee. He will serve a one-year term as Chair during the 2009-10 bar year.

Mr. Harris is a Member in the Seattle law firm of Williams Kastner, where his practice is dedicated to civil litigation, employment and discrimination, and insurance and commercial matters. He is a graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law, and is a member of the American Bar Association, where he is a fellow of the Leadership Academy for the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section.He is also a member of the Loren Miller Bar Association, the King County Arbitration Panel, and the Executive Committee of the Washington State Bar Association's Litigation Section.
