Stradley Ronon partner Kevin Casey co-led a roundtable discussion, "Practical Strategies for Handling Disputes of All Sizes," at the American Bar Association (ABA) Annual Meeting in Chicago. Casey is the incoming chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committee of the Intellectual Property Law section of the ABA. The discussion focused on strategies for handling intellectual property-related disputes, including creative uses for ADR and the importance of timing in ADR disputes.
As chair of Stradley Ronon's IP practice group and co-chair of its ADR group, Casey has almost a quarter century of experience in all aspects of IP law, ADR procedures, and the interface between IP and ADR. He is ranked one of the leading IP attorneys in Pennsylvania by America's Leading Lawyers for Business, The Client's Guide, and has authored numerous papers on IP and ADR issues and has taught IP courses at Temple University School of Law as an adjunct professor since 1995.
Stradley Ronon partner Joseph McHale recently served on the faculty for the 37th Annual International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy at Stanford Law School. The seven-day program was led by 15 prominent defense trial lawyers selected from different regions of the country.
As a partner in the litigation group and partner-in-charge of the Malvern, Pa., office, McHale has a broad and varied clientele including manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, businesses, pharmacists, physicians, and individuals with personal injury claims. He also serves as counsel to a group of health system risk managers and is an active trial attorney.
