Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. member, Bruce I. Goldstein was appointed to the New Jersey Special Supreme Court Committee on Telephonic and Electronic Search Warrants. Mr. Goldstein is a member of the firm's Litigation Practice Group and is a certified civil and criminal trial attorney.
The New Jersey Special Supreme Court Committee will address the practical issues involved in obtaining telephonic and electronic warrants. It will also study telephonic and electronic warrant procedures and make recommendations for uniform procedures, including forms, equipment, and training.
Jeffrey J. Greenbaum, member, Sills Cummis, served on a panel entitled "Navigating Your Way Through Multi-Party Litigation" at the New Jersey State Bar Association's Annual Meeting and Convention on May 14, 2009 at the Borgata in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The panel addressed topics such as the privilege and use of joint defense/common interest agreements, tolling agreements, unique class action issues - jurisdiction, removal, settlement, and the effect of denial of class certification.
Mr. Greenbaum, chair of the firm's Class Action Litigation Practice Group, is an active litigator and trial attorney in the federal and state courts with a focus on complex business litigation and class action defense litigation.
