Meiselman Partner Honored By Trial Lawyer Honorary Society

Jeff Carton, named partner at Meiselman, Denlea, Packman, Carton & Eberz P.C., recently has been selected to become a Fellow in The Trial Lawyer Honorary Society.

Mr. Carton is a seasoned trial lawyer and head of the firm's Litigation Department. He has successfully handled both state and federal jury trials, as well as numerous arbitrations. Among other cases, he successfully secured a defense verdict for Madison Square Garden and Amtrak in a federal jury trial in the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Carton's accomplishments have led to his selection in "Super Lawyers" for the New York Metro region, his listing in the Top 25 "Super Lawyers" in Westchester County, and his lifetime induction into the "Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum" and "Top Trial Lawyers in America."

Mr. Carton's vast experiences in the sports and entertainment industries have also led to his successful handling of a variety of matters including claims of copyright infringement, trademark infringement, breach of television executive production agreements, royalty disputes and artist-management conflicts.

Jill Owens of Meiselman was elected in April 2009 and will be sworn in on June 17, 2009, for a two-year term as a Westchester Women's Bar Association State Director to the Women's Bar Association for the State of New York, the nation's largest statewide bar association dedicated to promoting the advancement of women in the legal profession.
