WolfBlock partners voted on March 23 to dissolve the 106-year-old firm citing the affect of the recession on the firm's real estate practice, the difficulty in obtaining credit, and the anticipated departure of key partners and practices. Since then, a large number of WolfBlock's attorneys have moved to other firms.
Sixty-six have joined Cozen O'Connor and 53 have joined Duane Morris. A number of partners from the government relations practice in Washington and Boston have joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough.
A smaller number of attorneys are now with Stradley, Ronon Stevens & Young, Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge and Blank Rome. Members of WolfBlock' Wilmington office joined Drinker Biddle & Reath and those formerly in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania office joined Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott.
The 62 WolfBlock lawyers of the Roseland, New Jersey office created a new firm called Brach Eichler.
