Daniel L. Kesten has joined Davis & Gilbert LLP as partner in the Private Client Services Practice. Mr. Kesten concentrates his trusts and estates practice on helping clients preserve and create wealth by mitigating income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes. In addition to conventional estate planning approaches involving credit shelter planning and irrevocable life insurance trusts, Mr. Kesten counsels high net worth individuals on the structuring and implementation of "estate freeze" transactions which create long-term estate tax solutions for their families. He utilizes grantor trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, charitable lead and charitable remainder trusts, and grantor retained annuity trusts.
