Kelley Drye &Warren LLP partner and litigation co-chair William A. Escobar was selected as one of 16 attorneys nationwide by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA). The November/December 2008 issue of Diversity & The Bar, the publication of MCCA, featured the top minority attorneys from leading law firms.An article, "Leading Law Firm Rainmakers - 2008," highlighted the attorneys' substantive legal skills, acumen in developing books of business, abilities to build client relationships and their emphasis on client service. Mr. Escobar was profiled for his legal accomplishments and success in business development at the highest levels. He joined Kelley Drye 27 years ago and currently serves as co-chair of the firm's litigation group.
Kelley Drye & Warren has been named one of the top privacy advisers among law firms and consulting firms around the world in a survey published this week in ComputerWorld . The firm received the fifth highest number of votes in a poll of 340 professionals responsible for data protection in their organizations.
According to the article detailing the survey's results, "the appearance of Kelley Drye appears connected to the increasing number of privacy questions associated with new media and technologies, a stated strength of the firm."
Reed Freeman, a partner in the group ranked number five in votes received as a "top global expert on data privacy and protection."
