Kelley Drye Appoints New Advertising And Antitrust Special Counsel

Kelley Drye & Warren LLP is pleased to announce that August Horvath has joined the firm as Special Counsel in the Advertising and Antitrust Practice Groups. Mr. Horvathrepresents clients before the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) Consumer Protection Bureau and the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus and in courts nationwide in false advertising and deceptive practices litigation. His antitrust experience includes civil and criminal litigation before the Department of Justice Antitrust Division; FTC investigations and litigation in conduct and M&A areas; and private litigation including multi-million-member class actions.Mr. Horvath chairs the American Bar Association's (ABA) Antitrust Section Consumer Protection Committee. He serves with Kelley Drye partner John Villafranco as the Editors-in-Chief of the ABA's forthcoming definitive advertising and consumer law treatise, Consumer Protection Law Developments. In addition, Mr. Horvath wrote the ABA's Consumer Protection Handbook; served on the editorial board of the ABA's influential treatise, Antitrust Law Developments; and co-authored a chapter of the treatise, Antitrust Adviser, published by Thomson West. His new DVD, Antitrust Law Client Case Studies, was recently released as part of ReedLogic's Video Leadership Seminar series.
