Recent Appointment Enhances Day Pitney Diversity Initiative

Peter Wilson, Jr., who was until recently an associate in Day Pitney LLP's Institutional Financial and Commercial Lending practice, has been named director of Diversity & Legal Recruiting. In this new position, Mr. Wilson will work closely with the Executive and Recruiting committees to ensure that the firm continues to attract top legal talent and maintains its leadership in the area of diversity.

Mr. Wilson has been a member of the firm's Diversity and Hiring committees for the past five years and has served as coordinator for the firm's summer associate program and Minority Law Student Mentor Program.

Mr. Wilson has also served as the Diversity Co-Director of the Young Lawyers Section for the Connecticut Bar Association. Additionally, he was named one of Hartford's 2007 "40 Under 40" business leaders by the Hartford Business Journal and one of Connecticut Law Tribune's 2004 "New Leaders of the Law."
