WolfBlock Partner Elected To Board Of Greater Philadelphia Chamber Of Commerce

Alan Kessler, partner in WolfBlock's Litigation Practice Group and a member of the firm's Executive Committee, has been elected to the board of diectors for the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.The GPCC is an advocate for the region's business community, representing members in 11 counties across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. He also serves as a presidential appointee, confirmed by the United States Senate, to the Board of Governors of the United States Postal Service. He was elected chair of the USPS Board of Governors in 2008, having served as vice chair since 2005.

Mr. Kessler's background is in class action litigation, with experience in securities, antitrust and toxic tort cases, and in government relations matters.

Jim Rosenstein, of counsel at WolfBlock, has been installed as the president of the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR). For the last decade, he has been a commercial mediator and public policy negotiation facilitator. He also currently serves on the Board of the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators and is the chair of a subcommittee of the Pennsylvania Joint State Government Commission's Advisory Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution, which is charged with developing a plan to improve conflict resolution throughout the state.
