Norris, McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A. has recently announced that it is "going green" by joining in the American Bar Association/United States Environmental Protection Agency (ABA/EPA) Climate Challenge as an Energy Star Partner.
The ABA/EPA Climate Challenge encourages law offices to reduce energy use by at least 10 percent through the implementation of better energy management practices. The Energy Star program gives the firm a platform to develop and implement sound energy management practices that increase efficiency and conserve in the best ways possible.
"Norris, McLaughlin & Marcus believes an energy management approach will aid in preserving the environment for future generations and help enhance the financial health of the Firm," explained Ted Korth, who is heading up the firm's effort to "go green." The firm has accepted the responsibility to measure and track energy performance within the organization and will develop and implement a plan that is consistent with the Energy Star Energy Management Guidelines.
