Michael G. Considine, partner in the Stamford Office of Day Pitney LLP, and head of the Firm's White Collar Defense and Internal Investigation practice group, has been nominated by President George W. Bush to serve as Connecticut's next U.S. Attorney.

Mr. Considine, whose practice includes complex criminal investigations, prosecutions, regulatory inquiries and associated civil litigations, served as deputy chief in the U.S. attorney's office in the eastern district of New York, before entering into private practice. Mr. Considine's nomination, which has the support of U.S. Representative Christopher Shays, needs Senate confirmation.
