Orlan M. Johnson, a Partner in the Firm's Business Department in Washington, DC, was recently named to the Board of Directors for the National Aquarium in Baltimore. He will serve a three-year term.
Mr. Johnson focuses his practice on general corporate and energy regulatory matters, complex business transactions and federal and state regulatory issues in business and securities transactions, including proxy solicitations, bankruptcy reorganizations and equity and debt offerings.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Johnson is an adjunct professor of law at Howard University School of Law and currently serves as Vice-Chairman for the Board of Regents for the University System of Maryland.
Eric L. Brossman, a partner in Saul Ewing LLP's Business and Bankruptcy and Restructuring departments and Vice Chair of its Financial Services practice group, has been named Managing Partner of the firm's Harrisburg, PA office. He will oversee 21 attorneys who represent local, regional and national clients in corporate, energy and utility, environmental, financial services, insurance, intellectual property, patent and labor and employment law and commercial litigation matters.
Mr. Brossman concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate, merger and acquisition, business reorganization and counseling, corporate finance, and venture capital law.
