Annmarie Simeone, Member with the law firm of Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., has been elected to serve on the New Jersey Women Lawyers' Association Board of Directors as Co-Director of the Women's Leadership Resources Committee for the 2008-09 term. The Women's Leadership Resources Committee engages in statewide efforts to support and promote members to the highest levels of law firm, government, community, and corporate positions and the judiciary.

Fernando M. Pinguelo, a member of Norris McLaughlin and Chair of its Entertainment Law Group, successfully represented two authors of an original story on which the movie American Crude was based in negotiations with writers and producers. Mr. Pinguelo practices in the area of entertainment law, specializing in complex litigation in federal and state courts. In the film sector, he counsels screenwriters on copyright issues and development deals.
The Hon. William A. Dreier, a member of the Somerville law firm of Norris McLaughlin recently spoke at an Advanced Mediation Clinic. The seminar was sponsored by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education in cooperation with the NJSBA Dispute Resolution Section and the Justice Garibaldi ADR Inn of Court.
The program explored different mediation techniques, discussed how to remain in control of the process, the ethical pitfalls that should be avoided, reviewed the standards of conduct for mediators, and provided "hands-on" experience in a series of role-playing exercises.

He will focus his practice on transactional tax and business planning, comprehensive and sophisticated estate and succession planning, estate and trust administration and litigation, and all phases of tax law.
