On September 22, NJCCA will present a full day of CLE for our Third Annual Conference. A variety of presenters will cover topics of importance to your in-house practice on multiple tracks.
Track I is the first morning session and offers a choice of programs. Speakers will offer their views on employment practices liability insurance, while in other rooms speakers will address research collaboration efforts between large and small companies, outsourcing and the management of confidential materials. Our second track of the morning will offer instruction on records management issues of electronic documents, talent management in law departments and building your networking skills.
Our luncheon offers refreshment, networking and CLE Ethics credits as we present a program on the Law of Inside Counsel. This timely talk will focus on steps in-house counsel need to take to avoid civil and criminal liability.
Track II after lunch offers sessions on new electronic discovery rules, working with recruiters, using wireless technology to improve productivity and a session on managing your outside counsel spend. The final substantive track of the day will offer a choice of programs on hot topics in labor and employment law, trade regulation, corporate compliance and litigation management.
Our day concludes with a cocktail reception where you will have a chance to meet with colleagues and presenters. All attendees receive a CD of the program materials and the opportunity to review vendor offerings with our mini-trade show.
