To The Readers Of The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel:
In my interview with the Editor in last month's issue, I highlighted the variety of ways in which the Georgia Chapter helps its members to meet the challenges of their day-to-day practice. These include our "Lunch and Learn" programs. We have good topics, good discussions and great turn outs.
In April, Judy Powell and Chris Bussert, partners at the law firm of Kilpatrick Stockton LLP, presented a lively program focused on intellectual property issues and practical tips in negotiating licensing agreements, sponsorship deals and co-branded events.
Called "A View from the Top," our May 11 program features a roundtable discussion with the general counsels from Atlanta's leading companies. Their discussion will be moderated Aasia Mustakeem, partner at the law firm of Powell, Goldstein, Frazier & Murphy LLP.
I would like to say "thank you" to all those who have shared their knowledge and insights in helping to make our past programs success. I also would like to extend an invitation to your in-house readers to join us at our future events.
