• 79% of respondents to the question ranked The Metropolitan Corporate
Counsel as their first or second choice as the most useful publication to them
among the three or four national publications they receive without charge specifically
targeted to a general corporate counsel audience.
• 98% of respondents to the question requested a continuation of their
complimentary monthly copy of The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel.
• 93% of respondents to the survey said they were involved with working
with outside counsel, while 81% indicated they were involved with the selection
of outside counsel.
• 60% of respondents to the survey said they were involved with selection
of legal service providers.
• 59% or respondents to the survey are involved with Law Department Administration.
• In terms of substantive areas of the law that are relevant to in-house
counsel’s work: Of the respondents to the survey, 71% deal with Contracts
and Contract Drafting; 57% deal with Corporate Compliance (including Sarbanes-Oxley);
and 53% deal with Litigation.
• 52% of respondents to the survey indicated Legal Research Tools as
relevant to their work, with 47% indicating compliance training programs and
systems.
• 73% of respondents to the question share their copy or clippings from
MCC with others in their company.
• 41% of respondents to the question spend more than 30 minutes reading
each issue.
