In White House Letter the Business Roundtable And The Business Council Provide Examples Of Pending Laws And Regulations That Dampen Economic Growth And Job Creation
Responding to the request of Honorable Peter R. Orszag, then Director of The Office of Management and Budget at the White House, for examples of pending legislation and regulations that have a dampening effect on economic growth and job creation, Ivan G. Seidenberg, Chairman of the Business Roundtable, and James W. Owens, Chairman of the Business Counsel, sent the following letter dated June 21, 2010 (White House Letter) and Executive Summary. The White House Letter was also accompanied by a longer Report, which is accessible by linking to Program in the version of this document on our Web site: Mr. Seidenberg is Chairman & CEO of Verizon Communications and Mr. Owens is Chairman & CEO of Caterpillar Inc.
