Cloud computing is a powerful tool that offers increased efficiency and cost-savings for both counsel and clients. And as demand and data sizes continue to increase, more law firms and legal departments are turning to cloud computing for its numerous advantages.  Attorney-client privilege when communications are hosted abroad can be preserved through counsel’s understanding of the evolving technology and applicable and changing international privilege laws as well as ensuring proper safeguards are in place like encryption functionality and precise agreements.
