The forum will feature 30 workshops and 8 CLE tracks and will offer a full track devoted to Marcellus Shale issues. The keynote speaker is David J. Raphael, chief counsel of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, who will discuss the department’s wide array of environmental regulations, compliance issues and litigation and transactional matters in environmental law. Terry R. Bossert, vice president, legislative and regulatory affairs for Range Resources Appalachia LLC and former chief counsel for the Department of Environmental Protection, will be honored with the Environmental and Energy Law Section’s Achievement Award for his efforts in enhancing and furthering the practice of environmental law in both the private and public sectors.
