Also on Thursday, Vivia J. Chen, The Careerist, will offer The Careerist’s Top Ten Tips to Advance Your Career. Ms. Chen, a nationally recognized blogger, will offer fresh advice as a practicing lawyer who has studied what drives success in the legal field.
On Friday, John H. Martin of Thompson & Knight LLP will participate in a discussion titled Men Promoting Women: A Win-Win for the Legal Profession. This male panel will discuss how the men in a workplace can effectively support women’s initiatives, sponsor women for advancement, provide leadership opportunities, and take steps to eliminate gender bias.
